Oh deer!

It’s that time of the year, first week shotgun season! This is where all of the wary monster bucks are far away to a point where bow hunters cannot shoot at. The only way to get this distant deer is the use of the shotgun. I am going to get in the woods this weekend; hopefully someone will be able to take my shift as I go out to hunt!
The original plan is to get out four in the morning and cross the river at five while the sun isn’t out yet, then get to land in order to not spook any monster bucks. The other hunters would never thought of crossing the river into public land as they walk in from the parking lot to scare all of the whitetails to my direction. My step-dad has done this a couple of times and witnessed the biggest buck in the neck of the woods. It was said to be a nine/ ten pointer with huge antler mass that you couldn’t get your hands around. That’s what I’m after, a buck with antler mass, not the lengthy tines and beams.
With a 350 pound structure, this was tough to kill with an arrow, this deer was in the shooting range a couple of times, but he couldn’t find a way to get the arrow in his broadside body without letting it escape injured. We wanted him down, I’ve got the muzzleloader, and he’s going down as I get him in the vitals. I’m excited once I see this huge antler mass strutting around in the dense woods. My range would be more than 100 yards, and it will hit with such impact.
There were other nice ones in the woods too, not with antler mass, but lengthy tines, and if I seem to never find that buck within only 3 days of my short hunting season, I might as well not let a nice one pass up and I’ll take it. My step-dad passed a lot of nice ones, but his clock is running out for “the one” and now that bow season is over, he regretted it, but here is my chance to get the deer he wanted.
It would be a nice addition to my small room, the wall hanger of this ginormous buck that would be my third one ever. So far the bucks I’ve shot have gotten bigger in count. My first buck was a tiny eight, and recently I shot a massive five pointer with hardly any antler mass, but this should be my third and biggest one yet. I really want this buck badly! I need more than just an antler and skull mount of whitetails in my room; I would definitely hire a taxidermist for 500 dollars for this monster buck. I would also need walleyes and monster muskies in the room as well.

Hyptonntist, are they real?

The hypnotist, has introduced us to this glowing light beams, it’s neon red orb spinning, the blue line going up in array, up and down, up and down, I stare as my vision starts to become cloudy around the clear orb. The orb is the modern fashion of the old tick-tocking watch. I look away, because I didn’t want to be hypnotized, who knew what your hypnotist would want you to do! I was oddly tired, not eye-rubbing tired but consciously tired.
The volunteers were out tired, and some audience joined with, as the rest of the audience refused to be hypnotized. I looked back as the rumbling music was over, and voila! I see all fifteen volunteers sleep, and very few of our audience as Kaela, who happened to be at our table happened to be one of the. They made sound effects of a gunshot, as the hypnotized people acted as if they were shot. Was this all a set up? Couldn’t they help themselves if they were being shot by sound effects? It was really funny, I couldn’t stop laughing at people I know being in their hypnotized dance mode. Some were shaking their booty like no one was around, some danced the gangnam style, and then the hypnotist said let’s enjoy the car ride! Made revving sound effects as all of them acted as if they were in the car, and basked in the nice warm sun. Then he said, oh an officer has just pulled you all over! They started to act stressed, every one of them, and our tablemate even cried. I couldn’t tell if this was a flash-mob, or if they’re too good at acting.
I started to get confused, but it was good, they were all good at acting. They should have volunteers who are nervous in front of the crowd, whom can’t act well, and I’ll see if they’re hypnotized. If they could act out, be bold, and then I’ll start to believe that the hypnotist are real. It amazes me how much they can trick the human mind, they must’ve learned by trial and error, but here’s one problem. Have they ever hypnotized anyone like me? With a hearing –aid, and if I danced to the groove and it fell off, now what? How would I listen to them as I follow their hypnotized instructions, would I be out forever until someone finds a way to put my hearing back on so I can follow instructions to wake up?
The thoughts were scary, but the experience is what I want out of it. I’ll still work at Hy-Vee as I get into college, and they’ll have that traditional feast again. I’ll volunteer this time, and I’ll tell the hypnotist in advance. They didn’t allow video recording though! So I wouldn’t know how I would dance as if no one was around, and I still don’t get why they wouldn’t allow cameras, what could possibly go wrong, would they be startled for life in their hypnotized process? This concept still amazes me, and I’ll find a way to understand the whole process of hypnotizing, maybe I could do that to any girl and they’ll like me! Well we’ll see how good I am at first. This is what I call one of a kind subject.

Break schedules

I know summer is great, thanksgiving break is good, winter break is better, and spring break is reviving! Why not reallocate all of our break time into one extreme break. It would be advantageous for me, because I’ll be able to work 40 hour schedule without overlapping other projects being in my way during the short breaks during school year. If we added three of our breaks we get during school year, we would have a total of four weeks off, and we would love to take an extra month off. But which month should we take off? I’d say November would be best, because I would be able to hunt more, but I’ll miss early summer, when fishing is at its peak. It’s so hard to choose! Why do I have to have nine months of school and only three months off of summer break? It should be more like 50/50 school and break. Some would love half days, but not all year. Others would love to get it all done, school every single day including the weekends, just so they can get out much earlier.
For me personally, I think I would love to have every day of school including the weekends, just so I can have only six months of school, as I cram all of my weekends off, my summer break, spring, thanksgiving, and winter break, all into one big break I would call the epic time. During my epic time which would be during the spring until six months into late fall. So I could enjoy the weather, hunt, fish, and all of the outdoors activities when it’s necessary. The only problem is the ice fishing, snowboarding, and skiing activities. Well school should give us a 10 day emergency pass, where we’ve got to do what we love to do now, and besides, it’ll be snow day almost often when it’s such a wintery weather out there. So I’d call that the win-win situation of this epic break.
What would you do? Call the whole year a break? Just so we can relax all year and the year after until we all turn 18? That would be a great dream to have. We would be healthy too! Our stress is at ease, we would work out more often because we have time, and we wouldn’t be sitting for eight hours at a time at school, storing our fat that we just ate previously in school lunch. Our demographic population wouldn’t consist of many obese people because of the school hours we spend too much time on. Some people want to learn at a faster pace because it’s easier, that would be one of me. Imagine all of my free time I would have if all I had to do was walk in school, move around like its trick or treating to all of your classes, and ask your teachers for concepts you don’t currently have a grasp on and once you understand it you can leave on to another class. That would be a great thing, we wouldn’t have any more surprise déjà vu’s, where we are like; didn’t we already go over this?
