Be careful with guns!

Hunting is the best thing out there since fishing. Guns are very useful if you want to get a deer that would always be out of your range when you bow-hunt. However, lots of hunters die by gun related accidents yearly. It’s overlooked, it’s like saying the amount of deer that die being hit by a car is like the amount of hunters getting killed by guns. Of course fishing can’t go any more wrong than getting a hook in your hand. There are many types of guns that have their own special settings. So rule number one, don’t borrow another person’s gun, unless if they are the exact same type as the ones you’re used to. Why? Because the hammer, the cap, the pump, the bullet could be in all different places of the gun, and you would not have a clue what to do other than pull the trigger and shoot.
For me, a traumatic experience I once had was when I had a muzzleloader pointed away from me as I tried to hold the hammer as I pull the trigger so the bullet wouldn’t shoot. Well I had gloves on and with a big bang! The friction got the best of me, so the hammer went all the way to the cap and out goes a metal flinging through the woods at 1,000 ft per second. It could’ve easily gone a mile until it hit something, maybe a hunter, maybe if I was luckier a deer. But it was a serious case, because what if I pointed the gun at myself while taking the cap off. Yep, I’d be screwed. It was a 150 grain of pure recoil that would make your nerves jump.
Of course there goes an explanation why you don’t see very many old rednecks, because they disappear after a few more decades into their lives because of their cocky use of the gun. You don’t have to be a hunter to get guns; anyone can get one, the rule “right to bear arms”. It’s just dumb that people think you need special licensing for a gun, and that they’d think hunters would go insane and raid the city. People need it for self defense, and holy shit! Have you seen a grizzly bear in real life?! You probably haven’t because you live in a city, not Alaska/Canada. Their heads are so massive, and full of muscles, that you’d be in pieces before you could run away. Wolves too, you’d be as big as a deer, and only observed as 200 lbs of meat, just like a deer, and they will pack around you if they’re hungry enough. Deer can run much faster than you, so don’t think you can out-run them. Guns are useful that way!
The only thing I think is ridiculous is a gun that shoots more than 5 rounds per second. Who needs that? That’s overkill for an animal and a waste of bullets, and that is ideal for a large crowd, or war-like equipments, so why do they sell machine guns out there in the market? You obviously know it’s not just for collection, unless if you’re a rich person that will pay thousands just to make it a dust collecting piece in your museum like basement. All I can ask for is careful what you shoot that bullet with, and where that gun aims at.
